Transmission #003

Decided to post some quotes I have been, and will be keeping in mind throughout my journey.

"Life is full of choices, if you have the guts to go for it." - Henry Rollins

"I believe one defines onself by reinvention" - Henry Rollins

"The average is the borderline that keeps mere men in their place. Those who step over the line, are heroes by the very act. Go. - Henry Rollins

"Keep your blood clean, your body lean, and your mind sharp" - Henry Rollins

"Want a good body? Work at it. Want to be a success? Work at it. Want to be truly exceptional? Be a touch insane...You need a little bit of insanity to do great things." - Henry Rollins

"We are what we repeatadly do. Excellence, therfore, is not an act, but a habit" - Aristotle

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time you fall" - Confucious

"Lots of things that couldnt be done, have been done before" - Charles Auston Bates

  1. Most people talk and talk and talk, but never hold themselves accountable and never do what needs to be done. The most painful step is often accepting who we are, the greatest accomplishment is taking that perception of who we are now, and making ourselves what we want to be. You can do it. You've been honest with yourself about where you are and what got you there, now you have to be honest with yourself and know that you have the means to accomplish everything you desire. There will be setbacks and doubts, but when they come, just keep going...I'm really proud of you man, like Rollins said...Go

  3. Will in an often hidden moment of genius (have to get the obligatory Will dig in) is absolutely correct. The most important thing you can do is support YOURSELF. As much as we can all support you in your endeavor, you have to be your biggest support system. If you tell yourself you will succeed and you stick with the plan you set for yourself, make small goals along the way so you can track that awesome progress you are making, you are going to be both physically and mentally healthier.

Remember that our minds have incredible power over us- if you tell yourself that you will fail, you will fail. You are incredibly strong, intelligent, and WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. Don't let something as petty, cruel, and worthless as self-doubt defeat you.
